After picking you up at your accommodation at the indicated time, we'll set off for the Quindío Botanical Garden.
We'll enter the main path, which is two kilometres long, and through it we'll reach the most special places in the garden. We'll enter the Butterfly Farm, and there we'll stop to admire how 1,500 butterflies fly over the nectariferous flowers, a spectacle of nature and colour!
We'll continue along the path to find a great diversity of native birds. Do you want to see them up close? You can do so from the three viewing points in the Botanical Garden. The species combine with the exuberant vegetation to turn the Quindío Botanical Garden into the natural heart of the Colombian coffee region.
Did you know that the palm is the most characteristic tree of the region? In the garden, we'll discover the National Collection of Colombian Palms. Of the 255 species that live in Colombia, we'll see 210!
During our walk through the Garden, we can also visit the Ethnobotanical Museum of Palms, the Insect Museum and the Museum of Geology and Soils. And won't leave without discovering the culture of the region in the Museum of the Crossing of the Andes of Quindio.
We'll end the day trip by returning to your hotel after five or six hours of sightseeing.
