Transport Between Santa Marta and Tayrona National Park

If you want to travel from the beautiful city of Santa Marta to one of the most beautiful natural areas in Colombia, this transport service between Santa Marta and Tayrona National Park is the perfect option.

We’ll pick you up at the meeting point you select when booking, where you’ll board a comfortable car or minibus. From that moment on, you can relax during the journey, which takes approximately 1 hour. Along the way, you’ll enjoy spectacular scenery between the Caribbean Sea and the Sierra Nevada mountains.

During your visit to Tayrona National Park, we recommend following the jungle trails to Cabo San Juan, swimming in its crystal-clear waters, and admiring the wide variety of flora and fauna.

If you’re heading to Santa Marta, we suggest exploring El Rodadero or the fishing village of Taganga, which is famous for its sunsets. In the historic center, you can also admire the Cathedral Basilica, one of the oldest in South America.

How it Works

When booking, you’ll be able to choose between three options:

One-way to Tayrona National Park: we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Santa Marta and take you to Tayrona National Park. However, pickup is not included in Taganga or Minca. If you’re staying in either of these areas, we’ll pick you up at the Mamatoco gas station.
One-way to Santa Marta: in this case, we’ll pick you up at the entrance to Tayrona National Park and take you to your hotel in Santa Marta.
Round-trip transport: the most complete option, allowing you to travel to and from your destination from the meeting point you choose when booking.

Departure Schedules

When booking, you can choose the schedule that best suits you, depending on the option selected:

If you choose transport from Santa Marta to Tayrona National Park, pickup can be at 6 am, 10 am, or 2 pm.
If you choose transport from Tayrona National Park to Santa Marta, pickup can be at 8 am, 12 pm, or 4 pm.
If you choose the round-trip option, the same schedules apply. For example, if you depart from Santa Marta at 6 am, you can return from Tayrona National Park at 8 am, 12 pm, or 4 pm.
